Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, or using FamTree, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of FamTree, operated by 12hp Studio. By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

Section 02

Use of the App

You agree to use FamTree only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use any automated tool to scrape or interact with the App
Section 03

Accounts & Registration

Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring all information you provide is accurate and current
Section 04

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

FamTree may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. By making a purchase, you agree:

  • All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store / Play Store settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies
Section 05

User Content & Family Data

When you upload photos or records of relatives, you guarantee that you have the right or permission to share that information within your private family group.

12hp Studio claims no ownership over your family history. You retain 100% ownership of your tree.

Section 06

Intellectual Property

The App and all its content are owned by 12hp Studio and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Section 07

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 12HP STUDIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 12HP STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time via Settings or by contacting hello@12hp.studio.

Governing Law
